Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office

Calling Script:

“My name is, _______, and I am calling to demand that State’s Attorney Kim Foxx do everything in her power to free survivors of police torture and wrongful conviction before she leaves office this December. During your 8 years in office, you have done much to help free many people, and faced cruel and racist backlash as a result of your actions. While we applaud you for the work you’ve done, we require more accountability from your promises and call on you to do everything in your power to free more before you walk out the door. Hundreds of innocent people remain in prison for crimes they did not commit, and we ask you to do the right thing and vacate their convictions before you leave office. Thank you!”
